On a grassland I gallop, like a horse without harness

yeah so it's pretty obvious that we took the photos while we were on a stroll in a park. it wasn't really sunny but the grass made up for the missing sunlight ;p

Andy Warhol's soup

Being a fan of pop art, I was actually pretty thrilled when Uniqlo brought to us a collection of clothes themed "American Art of the 80s", which included shirts printed with works of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol (!!). So... purchasing the campbell's soup tank top was almost a natural thing for me to do ;p

paired with Zara TRF denim jacket and bag from Pull & Bear

Indian Flamboyance

Recently I discovered a fantastic Indian brand Manish Arora. As the first time to see Indian high fashion,  the design completely stunned me! With a taste of exotic, the delicate, flamboyant and colourful design is like a fantastic dream. I especially love the dreamy pastel colour and the splendid details.

The designer, Manish Arora, was born and raised in New Delhi. In college, he first studied Commerce but later changed to Fashion Design. He launched his own brand Manish Arora In 1997. You may find out more at his official website: http://www.manisharora.ws

Color blocking nails!

Can't really recall the last time i painted my nails... so here! i'm color blocking my nails! ;p

and here's the tutorial if you're wondering how it was done:
The steps are pretty much self explanatory. Just start with the base coat then work layer by layer, and seal everything with a top coat. The key to this is to include a super sheer nail polish, so that it can work its magic in the parts where one color overlays another. You can use more than one sheer polish, but the bottom layer must be opaque. Paint the layers according to their transparency... if you get what i mean.

Nail polish used above:
Seche Vite Base Coat
China Glaze Lemon Fizz
Skin Food Nail Vita (Turquoise)
Orange-red sheer polish from local cosmetic store
Seche Vite Top Coat ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
prolly the best top coat i've ever used.

HAVE FUN :)

FIRST OUTFIT POST! :D

Well... in explaining how we named our blog, photos may do a better job than words:

left (dubgee): all from taobao.com
right (teree): cotton on shades, shirt from monki, skirt from blackmilk, converse shoes

Though our wardrobes aren't exactly the same, a great portion is uncannily similar. We love anything tribal, mint, or with a galaxy print (which is obvious)... but there's more to that. We fall for the same clothes when we go shopping (which can be a bad thing), and there are days when we see each other and realize that we've put on clothes that look more or less the same (and styled them in a similar way!)

anyway, here are some close-ups/ details...

Salutations!

I know that sounds like a phrase copied from Charlotte's Web (okay, in fact it is), but salutations was the first thing that popped into my mind when I tried to come up with a title for the first post. I'm not really sure if anyone would actually be reading this, but, yeah, we're here to say hi.

So basically we're the girls behind this blog, and we'll be sharing with you the clothes we like, the accessories we crave, DIYs... you get the idea. We also plan on posting guest posts occasionally by a dear friend of ours  who at the moment will remain anonymous, so stay tuned :p

We're still kinda new to this, so feel free to leave comments to share with us your thoughts on our blog :)

oh btw, we're also girls who wish we were blondes so that we could dye our hair into crazy colors like these:
